After only two runs in their last game, Eastlake made sure to put some runs up on the board against Burges on Thursday. The Eastlake Falcons put the hurt on the Burges Mustangs with a sharp 12-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Giana Diaz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
