Pewaukee typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Wisconsin Lutheran proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 13-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won nine in a row.

Sidney Schroeder spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Zhana Guenther and Raygen Just did most of the damage at the plate: Guenther went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Just went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave Just a new career-high. Sofia Schroeder was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Wisconsin Lutheran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pewaukee only posted an OBP of .182.
