Volleyball Recap: Nixa Takes a Loss

Nixa suffered their biggest defeat since May 7, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Lee's Summit West Titans.

While Nixa ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Vlad Syrnikov and Jayden Tate, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Bryce Peebles and his 18 assists. Baran Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Nixa dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lee's Summit West, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-8-1.

As of now, neither Nixa nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
