West Bloomfield and Walled Lake Western are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Lakers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. West Bloomfield will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

West Bloomfield barely beat Farmington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lakers were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Falcons on Thursday. The Lakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Walled Lake Western can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They skirted past Kettering 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since April 21st.

Logan Saks was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

West Bloomfield's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Walled Lake Western, the victory got them back to even at 10-10-2.

West Bloomfield couldn't quite finish off Walled Lake Western in their previous matchup back in May of 2023 and fell 6-4. Can the Lakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
