Volleyball Recap: Abbott Comes Up Short

Abbott was the 2-1 winner over Hillsboro when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Eagles on Saturday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Abbott and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Hillsboro, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abbott will face off against Dawson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillsboro, they will challenge Connally at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
