Soccer Game Preview: Cosby vs. Pigeon Forge

Cosby is 0-4 against Pigeon Forge since March of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Eagles will face off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Cosby has given up an average of 7.1 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cosby is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Volunteer, falling 5-1. That's two games in a row now that Cosby have lost by exactly four goals.

Despite a strong season so far, Pigeon Forge has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 3-1 to Gatlinburg-Pittman on Monday.

Cosby's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Pigeon Forge, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-4-1.

Cosby might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Pigeon Forge when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
