Tonganoxie's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 74-62 victory over the Pleasant Ridge Rams. The Chieftains' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Pleasant Ridge still got an impressive performance from Wyatt Wilburn, who went 5 for 9 en route to 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The dominant performance gave Wilburn a new career-high in points. Dawson Hockett was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points.

With the win, Tonganoxie broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. As for Pleasant Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Tonganoxie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 tie against Paola on the 14th. Pleasant Ridge has also already played their next contest, a 59-46 victory against Jefferson County North on the 14th.
