Softball Recap: Klein Oak Triumphs

Klein Oak posted their closest win since March 8th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors 5-4.

Riannah Boulanger looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Klein Oak saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Lacour, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Makenzie Berkman was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Klein Oak's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-10. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 19-6-1 record.

As of now, neither Klein Oak nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
