Flag Football Recap: Cherokee Trail Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cherokee Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Overland Trailblazers and fell 38-6. The Cougars lost against the Trailblazers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 13-6 score last time.

Madison Adkins threw for 40 yards and one TD. Lulu Pratt was her top target, picking up 30 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Cherokee Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Overland, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Cherokee Trail didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 45-0 loss against Mullen on the 8th. As for Overland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 21-20 defeat against Smoky Hill on the 8th.
