Recap: Fresno Warriors vs. Torres Toros
The Fresno Warriors lost against the Torres Toros back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Fresno took a serious blow against Torres, falling 63-20. While losing is never fun, Fresno can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 787th, while Torres is ranked 358th).
Fresno's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Torres, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fresno will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Roosevelt will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Torres, they will head out on the road to face off against Madera South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Madera South comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
