Recap: Hudson Explorers vs. Walsh Jesuit Warriors
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Hudson Explorers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. Their rough 35-14 defeat to Walsh Jesuit on Friday might stick with them for a while. Hudson's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Peyton Neher threw for 193 yards and two touchdowns. Cade Fontana was his top target, picking up 84 receiving yards. On the ground, Teagan O'Guinn rushed for 72 yards.
Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Walsh Jesuit, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
Hudson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Walsh Jesuit is on the road again on Friday and play against Archbishop Hoban at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Archbishop Hoban is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
