King/Drew is a perfect 6-0 against Hawkins since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Golden Eagles will head out to square off against the Hawks at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for King/Drew and 25 for Hawkins dating back to last season.

On Wednesday, King/Drew came up short against Gardena and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Hawkins lost 3-0 to Foshay on Wednesday.

Hawkins' defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for King/Drew, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

King/Drew was able to grind out a solid win over Hawkins in their previous matchup back in March, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
