Basketball Recap: Richland Comes Up Short

Richland lost against Oakes back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Richland Colts lost to the Oakes Tornadoes on the road by a 59-44 margin. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 30th).

Richland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Oakes, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.

As of now, neither Richland nor Oakes have any future games scheduled.
