Volleyball Recap: Marcus Wins Going Away Against Steele Early College

Marcus had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Steele Early College on Tuesday. The Marauders put the hurt on the Stallions with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Marauders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Marcus never let Steele Early College on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-23.

Marcus' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Steele Early College, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Marcus nor Steele Early College have any future games scheduled.
