Basketball Game Preview: Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders vs. Williston-Elko Blue Devils

The Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders will head out to square off against the Williston-Elko Blue Devils at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bamberg-Ehrhardt has eight straight victories, Williston-Elko has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Ridgeland Secondary Academy Of Excellence 74-54 on Tuesday. The Red Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt found their leader in freshman Nasir Singleton, who went 12-for-16 en route to 29 points. The contest was Singleton's third in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Walker, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 15 points.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They are a perfect 9-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

Meanwhile, Williston-Elko took a blow against Wagener-Salley on Tuesday, falling 78-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Devils have suffered against the War Eagles since January 11, 2022.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Williston-Elko, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Everything came up roses for Bamberg-Ehrhardt against Williston-Elko in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, as the squad secured a 71-24 victory. Will the Red Raiders repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
