Softball Recap: St. Paul Wildcats vs. Ord Chanticleers
St. Paul was handed a two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Ord on Friday. The St. Paul Wildcats put the hurt on the Ord Chanticleers with a sharp 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Charlee Wegner made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Wegner was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.
