Basketball Game Preview: Bradenton Christian Panthers vs. Keswick Christian Crusaders

Bradenton Christian is 1-9 against Keswick Christian since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bradenton Christian Panthers will welcome the Keswick Christian Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Bradenton Christian turned things around against Berkeley Prep on Tuesday. They walked away with a 41-34 victory over the Buccaneers.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Keswick Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on Largo with a sharp 50-26 win on Tuesday. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Keswick Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Bradenton Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-9.

Things could have been worse for Bradenton Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-39 loss to Keswick Christian when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Thankfully for Bradenton Christian, Ava Graham (who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
