Basketball Recap: Phillips Takes a Loss

It was fun while it lasted, but Phillips's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They took a hard 60-44 fall against the Auburndale Apaches. The Loggers were probably out for revenge after losing 69-42 to them when the teams met back in March, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Having lost for the first time this season, Phillips fell to 3-1. As for Auburndale, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Phillips will venture away from home to face off against Chequamegon at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Auburndale, they will be home for the holidays to greet Newman at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Auburndale knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Newman likes a good challenge.
