Baseball Recap: Kings Mountain Takes a Loss

The Kings Mountain Mountaineers came up short against the West Lincoln Rebels on Wednesday and fell 7-3. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wesley Turner and Carter Roberts did some serious damage despite the final result: Turner went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Roberts scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Kings Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for West Lincoln, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Looking ahead, Kings Mountain will head out on the road to square off against Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Lincoln, they will welcome Lincolnton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
