Basketball Recap: South Beloit Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

South Beloit came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to the Christian Life Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-28 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-13.

South Beloit's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.9 points per game. As for Christian Life, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Beloit will welcome Hinckley-Big Rock at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. Hinckley-Big Rock knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully South Beloit likes a good challenge. As for Christian Life, they will square off against Harvest Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
