Volleyball Recap: Freedom Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Freedom put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Delaware Valley Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Freedom might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Delaware Valley scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-22.

Leading Freedom to victory were Joe Braun and Ayden Willman. Braun had five kills, three digs, two aces, and one block, while Willman had 11 kills, ten digs, and five blocks. Braun has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 20 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Logan Shupp, who had 11 kills, four digs, and one block.

Freedom's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Delaware Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freedom will welcome Whitehall at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Delaware Valley, they will face off against Berwick at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
