Olathe West waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Shawnee Mission North Bison as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16, 25-11.

Ella Stowell paced Olathe West's offense, picking up 11 kills. Stowell got some help from Neely Leathers and her 32 assists.

Olathe West's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Shawnee Mission North, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Olathe West is set to square off against their familiar foe Shawnee Mission East at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Shawnee Mission North will face off against rival Olathe South at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
