Jemez Valley came tearing into Saturday's game with 14 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Legacy Academy Silverbacks 54-26. The Warrior have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Legacy Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eden Griffis posted eight points and 17 rebounds. Griffis has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 14 times she's played. Bella Luna also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Jemez Valley's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points over those games. As for Legacy Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 19-8 record.

As of now, neither Jemez Valley nor Legacy Academy have any future games scheduled.
