Soccer Game Preview: Mount Juliet vs. Blackman

The Mount Juliet Golden Bears will square off against the Blackman Blaze at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Mount Juliet is headed into Thursday's following a draw, the team's first since March 6. They and Livingston Academy finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Mount Juliet's goal came courtesy of Matthew Boktor, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Blackman sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Siegel two weeks ago.

Blackman pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups. With that draw, Mount Juliet's record moves to 2-5-2.
