Volleyball Recap: Belen Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Belen won the last time they faced Moriarty and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pintos. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Belen not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Moriarty between 18 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-19.

Belen's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shyla Rocha, who had 19 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Rocha has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloee Padilla, who had 18 assists and six digs.

Belen was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in four consecutive contests.

Belen's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Moriarty, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Belen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Pojoaque Valley on the 25th. As for Moriarty, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Portales on the 26th.
