Volleyball Game Preview: San Marino Titans vs. La Canada Spartans

The San Marino Titans will challenge the La Canada Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as San Marino comes in on nine and La Canada on four.

San Marino had won three straight road games and Ryan Lee did his part to make it four on Thursday. San Marino was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over South Pasadena for which the team can thank Lee, who had 14 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games he's played.

San Marino walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 28-26, 25-23.

Meanwhile, La Canada was able to grind out a solid victory over Monrovia on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

La Canada was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-15, 22-25, 25-16.

La Canada's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for San Marino, their victory bumped their record up to 18-5.

San Marino took their win against La Canada in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0. Will San Marino repeat their success, or does La Canada has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
