Pharr-San Juan-Alamo is a perfect 10-0 against Economedes since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pharr-San Juan-Alamo has five straight wins, Economedes has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Saturday, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo beat Edinburg 3-1.

While Pharr-San Juan-Alamo might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Edinburg scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-20, 16-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Economedes took on Edinburg North on Saturday. The Jaguars fell 3-1 to the Cougars. While the Jaguars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 25-19 in the first set.

Economedes started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 26-24, 25-13.

Economedes' defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, their victory bumped their record up to 25-9.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo took their win against Economedes when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
