Softball Recap: Lindhurst Comes Up Short

Lindhurst lost against Woodland Christian on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blazers lost 14-2 to the Cardinals. The Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lindhurst saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gisele Thao, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Yasmin Medina also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Lindhurst's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Woodland Christian, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lindhurst will challenge Williams at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blazers are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Woodland Christian, they will face off against San Juan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
