Volleyball Recap: Atlantic Christian Comes Up Short

Atlantic Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Jupiter Christian on Friday. The Sharks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maelanny Cuello paced Atlantic Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Cuello got some help from Neenah Harripersaud and her 16 assists.

Jupiter Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kailey Rowell, who had five aces. Those five aces gave Rowell a new career-high. Livia Dunagan also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Atlantic Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Jupiter Christian, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.
