Football Game Preview: Palmyra Panthers vs. Clark County Indians

The Palmyra Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Clark County Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Palmyra took a 26-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Monroe City. The loss continues a trend for Palmyra in their meetings with Monroe City: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Clark County's offense. They came up short against Macon on Friday, falling 21-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 29, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Palmyra suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Clark County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Palmyra came up short against Clark County in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 26-22. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
