Baseball Recap: Miller Takes a Loss

Miller was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 11-4 to the Alice Coyotes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-0 on Tuesday.

Ryan Reyna made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Miller's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Alice, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Miller will take on rival Flour Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Alice is set to face off against their familiar foe Corpus Christi Moody at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
