Mountain Home waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 15-7 margin over the Wood River Wolverines. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Tre Morse, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Nehemiah Lyle was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Mountain Home pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Wood River, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mountain Home beat the Wolverines by a score of 21-6 later that day.
