Basketball Recap: Brookstone Comes Up Short

Brookstone lost against Chattahoochee County back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Brookstone Cougars fell to the Chattahoochee County Panthers 71-65. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Champ Simpson had an outrageously good game for Chattahoochee County as he dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten boards. Javen Tullis was another key player, putting up nine points and five steals.

Brookstone's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Chattahoochee County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Brookstone will be playing at home against Spencer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Spencer will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Brookstone surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chattahoochee County, they will head out to square off against Crawford County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Crawford County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
