Mingus proved they can win big last Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Coconino Panthers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Marauders: when they faced off against the Panthers back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Mingus is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Coconino, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mingus will challenge rival Bradshaw Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Coconino is set to square off against their familiar foe Lee Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
