Basketball Recap: Josue Tomita Key Part of Team Effort in Wolves Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Denver Christian, DSST: College View was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 63-50 victory over the DMLK Panthers. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

DSST: College View's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josue Tomita, who posted 25 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. The matchup was Tomita's third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ezekiel Perlman, who earned 16 points along with six rebounds and six steals.

DSST: College View now has a winning record of 2-1. As for DMLK, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

DSST: College View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-42 victory against Alameda on the 6th. As for DMLK, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-58 defeat against Lincoln on the 6th.
