Volleyball Recap: Bryan Takes a Loss

Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Liberty Center Tigers. The Golden Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Bryan was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-10.

Giesle Kidston paced Bryan's offense, picking up seven kills. Kidston got some help from Jozie Cordy and her 23 assists. Alea Shilling controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Chloe Mohler, who had 16 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024. Addi Davis also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Bryan's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Liberty Center, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Bryan will take on Hicksville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Liberty Center, they will square off against Edgerton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
