It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Andrew Jackson Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 41-40 victory over the Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on four straight.

Andrew Jackson Academy found their leader in sophomore Bella Carrigg, who went 5 of 10 en route to 15 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Kinslie Carson, who posted six points and three steals.

Andrew Jackson Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
