Basketball Recap: Lone Jack Comes Up Short

Lone Jack suffered their biggest loss since February 15, 2024 on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Barstow Knights and fell 84-50. The Mules just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lone Jack's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Shull, who posted 16 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Christopher Bates, who went 5-for-7 en route to 12 points.

Lone Jack's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Barstow, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

Lone Jack didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-43 victory against Wellington-Napoleon on the 21st. Barstow has also already played their next match (against Van Horn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
