Baseball Recap: Biloxi Comes Up Short

Biloxi lost to Gulfport on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians lost 11-4 to the Admirals. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adam Rugg and Gage Dalferes stepped up to the plate in a big way. Rugg went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs, while Dalferes went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Biloxi is 4-1 when Rugg posts two or more runs, but 3-14 otherwise. Connor Lofton was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Biloxi's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Gulfport, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

While Biloxi had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
