Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Mesquite). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Sunset Bison 49-6 at home. The win was some much needed relief for the Stallions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

North Mesquite's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julien Simpson, who rushed for 83 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Ivan Escalante was another key player, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
