Volleyball Game Preview: Weiser Wolverines vs. Fruitland Grizzlies + How To Watch

Weiser hasn't had much luck against Fruitland recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Wolverines will head out to take on the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Weiser barely beat McCall-Donnelly the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolverines blew past the Vandals 3-0 on Tuesday. The Wolverines have beaten the Vandals the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Vandals has come to flipping the script.

While Weiser won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Fruitland got the win against Emmett on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fruitland was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-15.

Fruitland's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Weiser, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Weiser couldn't quite get it done against Fruitland in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Wolverines avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
