For the second straight game, New Trier will face off against Deerfield. The Trevians will be playing at home against the Warriors at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. New Trier is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

New Trier blew Deerfield out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Deerfield got their revenge. The Trevians fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Trevians couldn't push the score so high this time.

New Trier saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Toft, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

New Trier moved to 22-7-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Deerfield, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-17 record.
