Volleyball Recap: El Capitan's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Buhach Colony wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played El Capitan, they should've done a better job of containing Kenneth Mua. The Gauchos blew past the Thunder 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Mua, who had 14 digs and three assists. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-15.

The win made it two in a row for El Capitan and bumps their season record up to 26-11. As for Buhach Colony, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

El Capitan will take on Atwater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buhach Colony, they will square off against Los Banos at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunder are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
