Volleyball Recap: McLean Find Success + How To Watch

McLean won the last time they faced Westfield and things went their way on Thursday too. The Highlanders came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1.

McLean was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 21-25, 25-18.

Their offense was headlined by Will McGinnis and Zolo Ganzorig, who picked up 19 kills apiece. They got some help from Ivan Nguyen and his 42 assists. McGinnis was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

McLean's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Westfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

McLean will challenge Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westfield, they will take on James Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
