Softball Recap: Hinton Wins Going Away Against Western Christian

Hinton barely beat Western Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blackhawks were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Wolfpack on Friday. The Blackhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Hinton's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Western Christian, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Hinton will welcome South O'Brien at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.55 runs per game on average), something the Blackhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Western Christian, they have already played their next contest, a 10-3 loss against Le Mars on the 13th.
