Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sun Prairie East). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Madison La Follette Lancers 125-92. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals who have now won six contests in a row.

Sun Prairie East pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 21.5 points. As for Madison La Follette, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Sun Prairie East will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Brookfield East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Brookfield East's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Madison La Follette, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Indian Trail at 2:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
