Crater waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Thurston Colts. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Comets have posted since November 2, 2024.

Crater's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Thurston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Crater is set to face off against their familiar foe North Eugene at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Thurston will square off against rival Churchill at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
