Basketball Recap: East Sac County Takes a Loss

East Sac County was the 63-46 winner over Northwest Webster when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The East Sac County Raiders took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwest Webster Cougars on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Cougars are ranked 80th).

East Sac County now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Northwest Webster, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

East Sac County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-29 loss against Sioux Central on the 31st. As for Northwest Webster, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-28 victory against Alta-Aurelia on the 31st.
