The Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights will take on the Tunkhannock Tigers at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Wyoming Seminary College Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Antek Evan was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Colin Donovan, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Wyoming Seminary College Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as MMI Preparatory School only posted an OBP of .355.
Meanwhile, Tunkhannock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-4 to Lake-Lehman.
Jack Welles was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. Those hits marked the first that he got this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Kaleta, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Wyoming Seminary College Prep is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Tunkhannock, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
Wyoming Seminary College Prep's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's game. The Blue Knights have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Tunkhannock, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases.
