Baseball Recap: Clarkstown South Comes Up Short at Home Against North Rockland

Clarkstown South unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 12-4 to the North Rockland Raiders on Sunday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Clarkstown South saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Lipson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Looking ahead, Clarkstown South will host Suffern at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Rockland, they will head out to challenge Clarkstown North at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
